When did you know it was time to transition from learning to teaching?
Jay : After receiving my black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, I felt the need to share the lessons learned with others. I wanted to create something within the martial arts community that would educate the next generation of this great tradition of mental and physical skill.
How long have you been studying and teaching Jiu-Jitsu?
Jay : I have been on a 36 year journey in the world of martial art. Studying Brazilian jiu-jitsu truly gives my life the balance it needs to stay healthy physically and mentally.
How does your diet effect you in and out of your practice?
Jay : Diet is a key component and can effect not only your physical condition but your mental state as well.
