Frequently Asked Questions
Why drink Potent C?
It’s packed with fresh vitamin C and it’s great for your skin.*
*If you really want to get technical… (otherwise, skip the below paragraph!)
From the Oregon State University’s Micronutrient Information Center: “The antioxidant properties of vitamin C (ascorbic acid) and its role in collagen synthesis make vitamin C a vital molecule for skin health. Dietary and topical absorbic acid have beneficial effects on skin cells.”
What are sea buckthorns? What does sea buckthorn juice do?
Sea buckthorn are little berries orange in color that have the same smooth skin and are the same size as cranberries. They grow in places that have very pronounced four seasons; we bring ours from Canada from a really cool farm.
Yes, we press our own sea buckthorn in-house!
Sea buckthorn supports whole body health with an abundant source of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants & omegas 3, 9, and one-of-a-kind Omega 7 known as palmitoleic acid.
What else is inside this shot?
Aside from sea buckthorns, this shot has:
Orange juice: fresh orange juice brings a burst of flavor and lots of vitamin C.
Pineapple juice: its sweetness balances the tartness from sea buckthorns. Pineapple juice contains a large amount of calcium, magnesium, vitamin C, and iron, which ensures individuals who drink it receive a variety of health benefits.
Lemon juice: we use lemon juice to bring our acidity to just the right level.
Baobab powder: This powder contains prebiotics with immune-boosting properties. It’s also an excellent source of bioavailable vitamin C, antioxidants, and fiber.
Can I take multiple shots per day?
Because we use organic and fresh ingredients and produce, you're giving your body a daily nutrient boost — similar to a vitamin — when you take our shots.
When should I take this shot? How many can I take?
All of our shots can be taken daily and can be combined depending on your needs.
What can I expect?
Because it’s one of the least complex from a taste perspective, this shot is often the first one newbie shot-takers are drawn to. It has an orange juice-like taste that when combined with our other ingredients, is even more powerful nutrient-wise than regular OJ.
It’s also the first shot most moms give their kids. Don’t forget to check for allergens, of course!
Do you make your own product?
We cold press and mix our juices in-house. This means we make all our shots in small batches to make them as fresh as possible for you to enjoy.
Is this shot sweetened in any way?
The 4 g of sugar on our label refers to the naturally occurring sugar found in orange juice, pineapple juice and sea buckthorn juice. There is no added sugar in any of our shots.

What is High Pressure Processing/ HPP?
All of our KOR Shots are created using the Cold-Pressed High-Pressure Processing (HPP) method. HPP uses high pressure instead of high heat to extend the shelf life of the juices. We find this method ideal because it maintains the integrity of the nutrient-dense ingredients.
